Spicy Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Spicy chili? Slow cooker? Sign us up! Our Hot Garlic Hot Sauce adds a delicious kick to chili, making this our favorite spicy, garlicky, slow cooker turkey recipe!
Serving Size: 8 Servings
This fits in a 6 Quart slow cooker. Cut in half if using a smaller slow cooker.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1 Tablespoon high heat oil (we use avocado)
1 large onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, diced
2 bell peppers, any color, diced
2 jalapeños, diced
1 heaping cup dried black beans pre-soaked and cooked per instructions on bag or 2 (15 oz) cans of black beans
1 heaping cup dried kidney beans pre-soaked and cooked per instructions on bag or 2 (15 oz) cans of kidney beans
1 cup corn (frozen, fresh, or can)
28 ounces canned tomato sauce
28 ounces diced tomatoes (we love fire roasted)
~2 Tablespoons Hot Garlic Hot Sauce (add more or less depending on preferred spiciness)
*Spices to taste (we love adding a bunch of spices, but you could just use chili powder and whatever else you prefer/have in your pantry!):
~2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
~1 Tablespoon Cayenne
~1 Tablespoon Cumin
~2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
~2 teaspoons Paprika
~2 teaspoons Oregano
~1 teaspoon Onion Powder
Optional green onion and/or cheese for topping.
Directions:
Heat oil in skillet over medium heat, add ground turkey meat, cook until browned through.
Add turkey, onion, garlic, bell peppers, jalapeños, black beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Hot Garlic, and spices to the slow cooker. Add salt and pepper if desired. Stir to combine.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Add any desired toppings.
